Whitney Lemmon

Whitney is focused on venture capital fund investing across the Flagship and Emerging Leaders strategies. Before joining the Firm in 2018, Whitney worked as an analyst for Portola Partners, a Menlo Park-based wealth management firm and was a member of the firm’s Impact Investing Committee. 

Whitney earned her BA in Economics and her MBA from Stanford University. At Stanford GSB, Whitney helped coach over 25% of her classmates through a weekly class-wide gathering that fosters community-building and self-reflection through storytelling. Whitney complemented her extensive experience in asset management with stints at Formally, a legal-tech AI startup, and Pear VC, a seed stage venture capital fund, as well as the GSB Impact Fund. 

In addition to her work at Next Legacy, Whitney volunteers as an advisor to local nonprofits advancing equity in education and economic empowerment, including Rise University Prep.
